Good Sunday morning to you all! Again I’m late with the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge post. But I needed to finish up a couple of things so I could post them.
Not a lot in the way of pink this past week but I did make a pink Dear Jane :
and I have a pink quilt to show you which I completed last year. My apologies for the lighting. Natural light is very poor at this time of year and the artificial lighting isn’t good. From My Heart designed by Debbie Mumm
This was a free pattern on her web site several years ago. I chose a pink and brown palette to give an antique effect.
Next, I finally completed the December Challenge for Across The Pond Sew Along Flickr group hosted by Amy Made That! The Patchsmith and Susie’s Sunroom
This placemat pattern was designed byAmanda of The Patchsmith for December’s challenge. There is supposed to be a napkin and holder on one of the borders but I left it off. I’ll be using it as a tabletopper. Here it is modelled by a couple of bunnies and the prairie corner tree which was made by myself and DD just before Christmas. I couldn’t bare to put it away.
So that’s it from me for this week. I would love to play longer with pinks but this is the last weekend for this month’s challenge. Maybe I’ll squeeze a bit of pink in before the end of the month. I’m excited now to know what February’s colour will be.
If you’d like to see what everyone else has to show for their last Rainbow Scrappy Challenge then go visit Angela’s Soscrappy blog here.
Ooopsy! Nearly forgot to show the finished wash cloth I made from the Craftsy Tunisian Crochet course. Here it is warts an’ all
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
