Happy Birthday Mum

It was my mum’s 79th Birthday this week so I thought I’d post some pictures of her.  First up is a picture of her holding moi not long after she got out of hospital in early 1956.   She’d had TB and had to spend a long time in hospital starting before I was born.Picture 068and didn’t get to see me properly until I was 8 months old.  Don’t I look surprised, LOL.  Possibly wondering who this stranger was that I’d been handed over to.

Here are some more recent pictures :-Mum waiting for bus at Carrefour 2006   The first taken in 2006 while we were waiting for a bus to take us home from the Carrerfor near Algeciras.  The one below was taken in 2009 in Estapona.Mum and me on Estapona beach june2009

I love this photo of her as she appears to be really enjoying herself.

I have a few more pictures I’d like to share of her but first I’d have to find them and get copies on the computer ;)  So I’ll leave that for another day.

Nothing quilty to show at the moment but hopefully soon ;)
