Started with a meet up at Newcastle (upon Tyne) airport with a couple of ladies from the UK Pet Rabbit Yahoo group. Roslyn and Dorothy. Here is a picture of the three of us taken by DH Neil.
Then the flight down into Tenerife South airport we saw the peak of Spain's highest mountain Mount Teide before descending through the clouds. More on this later on.
On our first day we went exploring along the long beach promenade. Here is a picture of the beach.
And here is a picture of the pool area from the reception area. This picture was taken on our last day. Our room was the bottom one near the second parasol on the left. The balcony led straight out onto the pool area and we had to be up pretty early to reserve the beds nearest our room. It was a wonderful hotel. Wonderful food and rooms and the pool was heated.
