Scrap Happy Saturday Challenge 2013

This is the last Saturday for Soscrappy’s February’s RSC challenge of using purple scraps.  Here are my offerings :-

I completed my little rail fence blocks in purple, these will be 4 inches finished:

Purple Rain Sky back Purple Rain Sky 

The back is on the left and the front on the right.

The front is a Mug Rug pattern by The Patchsmith  called April Sky.   I’ve renamed mine  Purple Rain Sky :)   I did ‘Improv’ piecing for the back. I had a lot of fun with this project.

Lastly, I did get some Dear Jane Blocks done in the past few weeks but not as many as Angela ;)  Here are my offerings:

h-3 g-11

H-3  Berry Baskets in purple and G-11 Decisions, Decisions in pink.   I have a couple more purple ones I hope to stitch up tomorrow.

    Very nice purple stuff. I love the sun peeking out from the rainy sky. The pink and purple blocks are cute together.

    Those rail fence blocks are just adorable -- perfect little plusses. Looks like you made lots of fun little projects with purple this month. Great Dear Janes too. One block at a time will get us all there someday.

    I really like your colour themed projects. First there was the pinks and now the purples. And the purple rain mug rug is gorgeous - I especially like the rain quilting.
