Whoo Hoo! At last I managed to straighten this top up! Though now I need to put something in those large corner squares. The beasties aren't yet sewn on so are moveable at the moment. I just pressed them on and they've clung for the moment. But for the moment I've managed one hurdle. Anyone any ideas?? Most gratefully received :)) Off to bed now, nighty night!
My patchwork and quilting efforts with some crochet, bunnies and scenery thrown in here and there for good measure

KKQ Round Robin Fiona's Box

Fiona's box finally got to me. I already had an idea for it so went with it. This RR didn't have a theme when it started and no idea was given by the owner. Sooo it's now been turned into the Garden of Eden. I've put Adam and Eve on and the snake in the tree. Adam and Eve have Bob and Fiona's faces, taken from photos loaned to me by Fiona's mum. Fiona's RR is all fusible appliqué so I've fused my bits on, still need to stitch it. The first picture is as I got the project and the second is of my addition.

KKQ Round Robin -Janet's box
Lyn's Round Robin at stage 2.
Here's my contribution on Lyn's Round Robin. Her theme is for a summer floral basket.I found this basket in Elly Sienkiewicz book "The Best of Baltimore Beauties" I reversed appliquéd the tear drops in the center putting a gold fabric behind and then appliquéd the remaining basket onto the background block (which was prepared by Lyn). I have set it on point... heee heee. She said she wanted to be 'surprised'. I have left the top unstitched so others can tuck stems, etc., into the top. I used freezer paper underneath method. I'm the first person to get her box.
