ScrappyHappy Saturday and other projects' progress

I have a few pictures for you today.  First up is the progress on my neutral's project for April.
I finally got a chance to try out my new Lil Twister ruler.  This will turn into a tablerunner with a narrow inner border and a pieced outer border.  I've used neutrals from grey to cream.

Next up is a picture of my progress with the  "Harrington and Hannah" BOM by Michelle of The Raspberry Rabbits   I've done 2 blocks with a 3rd in progress (a lot in progress, as in only the stitchery has been traced onto the background) block 4 is out tomorrow!!!

Now I have a finish to show you :)  The crochet shawl I have been making for my mum.  Finally finished!  Here are some pictures of my DD modelling it in my garden.

Finally, a picture of a bunny.  A naughty bunny.  Chichi, thinking our fruit bowl, which was the kitchen table, is a self service bowl.  Yes she jumped up there from her table in the pen (quite a leap) and I found her merrily chomping away on an apple.  Cheeky Chichi!!

You'll have to excuse the mess on the table, I didn't have time to tidy before grabbing my camera.
Now I suppose I should go continue on with a hand pieced Dear Jane block which I started last Sunday!!!  I may get another seam done today, heee hee.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

hugs

  3. Such a neat variety of projects. Lovely shawl and love the green in your garden. Those twister blocks came out great. What a pretty table runner they will make. Too funny on the bunny helping himself.

  5. Your Twister blocks are super. Did you stitch them up as a 9-patch first? I'm curious how you achieved the 'sashing' around each Twister block. Hmmm.
Both Kirsty and your Mum's shawl are gorgeous! Your Mum will love this shawl! The garden is so pretty, too.
Naughty bunny! Would have liked to see Chichi actually make that leap... wow!
The H&H bunny blocks are darling... I need to get cracking on mine. You really got a ton done this week!

  11. Love you neutral scraps. I may need to do a table runner, as I have a table that needs one. Your bunny is cute, at least she/he did not take a bit out of each apple (my brother in law did that one time to a whole box) Family folklore.

  14. Naughty bunny!! The shawl is great, your mam is going to love it! I also love the twisty pinwheels - I don't usually 'do' neutrals but these look great, I may be on the path to conversion! (Well, considering putting a toe on the path at the very least!) Hope you've finished that DJ block by now?!!
