Hello everyone and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all. I know I’ve been missing from blogland for quite a long time. Something happened way back at the back end of April and that was it. I’m hoping things will be better this year and I can get to finish so many WIPs.
Thank you to Angela of Soscrappy blog for running the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge again this year. I’m hoping to continue with my ‘boxed in’ blocks of which I made 4 last year. As luck would have it this month’s challenge colour, BLUE, is not one I which had made last year. So I pulled out my blue scraps and made it this week. I don't have very much in bright blues so just worked with the scraps I had. Here it is on it’s own and with the other four blocks:
I have another "BLUE" scrappy project on the go, something small, which I hope I have finished before the end of the month.
Here is a WIP which I completed last year. “My Garden BOM” by Lynette Anderson. I finally got it done!
This year I’m hoping to finish another BOM and that is Tisket A Tasket from 2009. I’ve completed 9 blocks and just have another 3 to do. I’ve completed block 10 before 9 so here’s that one:
Finally, for this post, I’d like to show the latest mug rug I made for a friend for Christmas. It is one of Amanda’ of The Patchsmith design.
There’s a few other projects I managed to complete last year, mainly to do with crochet, but I’ll show you a few at a time over my next few posts. I have made another 'page' on my blog (see tab at the top) where I've listed all the WIPs I have which I could remember at the time. I hope to whittle them down this year.
Have a good weekend and happy stitching!
Hugs
Ellyx
